Dr. Barnes offers several options to treat bruxism (grinding). The most popular of these options is the comfort fit occlusal guard that is worn at night. It has a soft lining, so it won’t hurt teeth or restorations, and a hard outer layer to withstand the grinding forces. This guard is also very useful at reducing some of the symptoms of TMJ inflammation.
